An Fast, Easy, and Cheap Way to Patch a Hole in Drywall
I am curious how the factory filling process manages to get the paint/propellent into the can and at the same time crimping/sealing all without major leaks and paint splatter everywhere. That process alone has my head spinning!
You use the word "misnomer" when you should say "myth". Not the same things. Good video.
This helps tremendously! Thank you very much. I’m following you now!
Didn't know about all the safety precautions - I've been using this stuff with gay abandon for fifty years , getting it all over my hands and breathing in the fumes . It's amazing I'm still around !
Thanks! I bought some cabinets that I had to run longer screws into a lazy Susan base and grind the screws off leaving unsightly marks in the lazy Susan trays. This will fill those gouges perfectly. I subbed!
Bondo all purpose putty ….is not available anymore in 2024 …What do you use now for outside rot repairs on the bottom of doors? Your video is GREAT..
This helped. Still spilled but not as much. Thank you!
Not great advice. If the you're using as a guide isn't straight, your cut won't be straight
Oh my gosh, thank you!! I have tried funnels and had the same overflow results. This make sense - no more wasted.
Maybe I missed this in the video. I'm wondering if this product will accept a stain. I am repairing holes in my cedar siding from woodpeckers and carpenter bees.
What an eye opener!! I used to unscrew the bottles from the bottom, an act for a contortionist - and one that still requires help holding the dispenser on the top. 🤯Thanks so much, you saved my day!
Can it be used with partical board on expensive hotel night stand. Cause they offerd me a fixer upper on a night stand that has been located a sweated glass which inflated the wood, let me know anything
Great instruction on how to use body filler & its many applications (& advantages). Thanks for sharing.
F-nn-l, the missing letters are "u" and "e"
very informative and up to the detail of "why" and "how" things work
Cool 👏
I’ve used compressed nitrogen to blow the clog back into the can with about 30% success.
Good explanation.
How does an any-angle aerosol can work?
Genius! Didn't need funnels, hoses, or Dremel tools. You converted a messy lengthy process into a 20-second job with no cleanup.💯
Craig your "secret" is printed on the side of the can. But I still liked the video on the history of spray cans. 2 thumbs up.
thank you so much!
Exercising faces 😂 love it. Great video
Well done. I now know more than before. I need to work on the 6-8 cans clogged & full of paint.
Any other graff heads here!? I remember watching this year’s ago
Thanks a million! I just realized I can fix my rotted window sill myself and I'm looking forward to it! This was super complete.
Brilliant! Thank you for this great tip.😂
Ty sir
AHHHH! THANK YOU! I AM SO SICK OF DEALING WITH SOAP POURING OUT ALL OVER THE PLACE DUE TO NO AIR! ^..^
The correct method: In a controlled environment, at room temperature, pour the exact liquid soap volume (see note below) in a graduated glass measuring cylinder. Using a glass funnel, transfer the liquid soap to the liquid soap reservoir. Remove the funnel slowly and cover it during removal with a sterile clean room paper to avoid spills. IMPORTANT NOTE: Remember to deduct the funnel bottom tube volume from the total liquid soap volume, or a spill will occur. To do this, do a 3D volume calculation for the funnel bottom tube using Autodesk Fusion 360. Exact measurements of the tube are required to draw the 3D model. Use a calibrated Mitutuyo Digital Caliper for precise measurements. 😂 LOL Just joking!. I am using your method!!! 🏆 zillion thanks😊
Best technician super technical 👍
Great information
Holy CRAP!!!! THIS VIDEO IS STRAIGHT UP AWESOME!!!!!! THANK YOU
I waited twelve minutes for that?
Thanks
This was awesome and detailed thank you very much
👍
One of the best videos I’ve seen. Excellent descriptions and I enjoyed the alternate uses part. I’ve used body putty on a lot of cars and know how durable it is. While the rest of the cars would rust away the body filler parts would look like new. It was useful to know about how temperature variations can impact the bond between wood & body filler. Btw, I used to make my own surfboard designs and that’s where I discovered how useful mixing resin with catalyst was. I still have two surfboards I made when I was 17. Now I’m off to use body filler all over my house! Thanks!
You can use a binder clip to hold the straw in place.
Thank you for this video! We had a wooden screen door with extensive wood rot on the back of our house. My husband thought we would have to pay someone to build a new door But I used the techniques shown in this video to fix it. This was my first big DIY project and it worked out great! Thanks!
Have termite eaten wood in front of my garage which will be painted after fixing with Bondo.
I love learning something
Great instructions!!’
Whats wrong with a funnel?
Excellent. Thank you.
Thanks for the education, luckily I had the sense to fast forward it to the important bit: as it says on click-bait: Never Deal with a Clogged Spray Can Again
I always try to use screws to give it some more strength and also to use as a level guide
If you've got a clog in the pickup tube on the inside of a spray can, use an automotive valve stem to make an attempt to clear the clog. You can use this technique on a variety of spray cans that have a propellant inside of them whether it's paint, expandable insulating foam, hairspray, adhesives, etc-etc-etc. More on this later. I'll issue this warning - a manufacturer would never recommend this technique I'm sure but it is useful for salvaging a can if you're willing to accept the risk of having something happen. I recommend wearing safety glasses and taking the proper precautions to prevent injury to yourself as well as to protect your property. Remember that a lot of propellants are highly flammable. What's inside the can could blind you if it gets in your eyes and could certainly damage your lungs if you ingest it. There's also the potential to get sliced open and bleed badly if the can were to burst. Note that not all cans will tolerate 100 PSI. Some of the smaller cans are made out of Aluminum instead of steel and might only hold 15 to 20 PSI so be careful what you pressurize and by how much. What you're doing is all on you! Now back to the technique. Since it has been done many times before and it's easier to watch it than explain it go to the following channel: sixtyfiveford The video you need to watch is this one: Fix Clogged Spray Paint Cans The rest is up to you. Best wishes! 🤔👍🏻🇺🇲 - Max Giganteum
Never used the tape like that. Nice!
Great tip!
